Treatment Cycle: August/December/April

$60.00 per hive/cycle

Oxalic acid is a natural substance used in beekeeping to treat and control Varroa mites, a common and destructive parasite of honey bees. It is applied through vaporization, using a vaporizer. The acid disrupts the mites' metabolism, killing the mite on contact without contaminating the honey, and is most effective during broodless periods when bees are clustered, typically 3 times per year. August, December, April.

Hive Inspection Services

A beehive inspection includes items related to the queen's presence and health, the brood pattern, signs of pests and diseases, food stores, and the overall hive condition. It also involves noting the weather conditions, date, time, and any unusual observations.
